We Are Families Helping Families

We need your help and everyone’s help to support them. We need to show them that we all have their back and is doing our part in their journey of fighting childhood cancer.

You can help by either contributing financially to our cause, or to take part in our efforts to support them. Of course, it would be best if you can do both!

Amirul was diagnosed with nephroblastoma or kidney cancer back in 1999. When his case was identified as cancer, it was at Stage 4 and tumor has spread from left kidney to the blood vessel, close to the heart. Within 3 years, he went for continuous chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, all necessary to survive and alhamdulillah, he finished his last chemotherapy in 2001.

Recently he was back for semester break to join our annual Youth Camp with the rest of survivors and contribute back to SCCS through volunteering at the ward as well as our roadshows for Colour Rush. He currently taking degree in TESL and now doing his best to continue to increase awareness of childhood cancer and also spark hope within SCCS families and survivors.
