Syifa was diagnosed with Precursor B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in March 2020 at the age of 3 years old (Right about the time we were hit by Covid-19 pandemic). Since then, she has undergone 16 chemotherapy sessions and is recovering.

“My hand hurts”
Recalling her experience for the past 6 months, it was a challenging period of time when Syifa had to withdraw her blood from her hand because due to MCO and sudden surge of Covid-19 cases, they couldn’t carry out the surgery to insert CVL (Central Venous Line).

“If they can, why can’t I?
Parents of little fighters around them gave her strength & patience to take care of Syifa. In addition to constant emotional support from SCCS, the medical team & nurses made us feel that we are not alone in this journey. She hopes that one day, Syifa will recover & live her life just like any other children at her age.
