At the age of 2 years old, Fazriel was diagnosed with Leukaemia. It started with his difficulty in walking and pain in his legs. Initially the parents thought it was just normal but what bothered them the most was his fever for a long period of time.

It was a difficult time for the parents as they were in disbelief to find out that he was diagnosed with cancer but they had to be strong & hopeful for Fazriel. He began his chemotherapy as the cancer had spread to his bone marrow and the result from his blood test was not great. It took Fazriel about 6 months to complete the treatment before he was able to reunite with his family back in Bintulu.

Fast forward to now, 5 year old Fazriel has already started his pre-school since last year and is back to his normal life, just like any other child.
