Fariz Hakim is currently 21 years old, and a survivor of Burkitts Lymphoma Cancer Stage 4, a type of cancer which starts in immune cells known as B-cells. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was 17. Currently working as a Pastry Chef, his expertise is in creating not only our local delicacies such as Laksa Sarawak, but even sushi! He dreams that one day he will have a business of his own in the food and beverage industry.

To all the fighters that walk through this journey, he hopes that they will be patient and keep strong when facing God’s tests and challenges. Like the other survivors, he is living proof that they can also beat cancer.
