Since then, she has undergone 16 chemotherapy sessions and is recovering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy hand hurts\u201d<br>Recalling her experience for the past 6 months, it was a challenging period of time when Syifa had to withdraw her blood from her hand because due to MCO and sudden surge of Covid-19 cases, they couldn\u2019t carry out the surgery to insert CVL (Central Venous Line).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf they can, why can\u2019t I?<br>Parents of little fighters around them gave her strength &amp; patience to take care of Syifa. In addition to constant emotional support from SCCS, the medical team &amp; nurses made us feel that we are not alone in this journey. She hopes that one day, Syifa will recover &amp; live her life just like any other children at her age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Story compiled by Cikgu Kai
