To raise fund for furthering SCCS objectives and torender financial assistance to needy patients and their families.

In April 2008, SCCS extended Financial Assistance of RM160,000.00 to Joger Dong, a five year old Leukemia boy from Kapit who undergo an unrelated transplant.

SCCS assists needy family on funeral expenses.

SCCS sponsor medical consumables which are not provided by the Sarawak General Hospital to ease the financial burden of the families as well as to provide the best care for the children.

• New Patient’s Kit Bagwhich contain books,thermometer, etc.
• Transportation/Traveling subsidy for outstation patients traveling from their home to the hospitals.
• Free food and lodging at Children Cancer Centre.
• Recreational activities
• Annual Family Camp
• Compassionate money and funeral expenses for needy family .

Maybank Charity Team renders its strong support and assistance to SCCS Annual Charity Food Fair with the biggest stall since 2003.

Fund raising projects are being organized by various higher learning institutions, schools, corporate recreational clubs and NGOs where SCCS is their sole or part of the beneficiary for the funds raised.
