Golden Child Objectives

This annual Golden Child Weekend Family Camp isspecially organized for childhood cancer patientsand their family members throughout Sarawak withthe following objectives:

1. To provide supportive programs for families of children battling with childhood cancer.
2. To group support for the family to gain strength from others facing similar problems through sharing with other families their experiences and feelings about having a child with cancer.
3. To provide the family a recreational time together in a relaxed environment away from the stresses of the hospital and clinic which is often denied because of financial and time constraints due to the demands of the child’s illness and treatment.
