Golden Child Camp

The Golden Child Camp (GCC) is an annual recreational event organised by SCCS to provide families an avenue to temporary get away from the trauma, physical and emotional drains of cancer treatment process.

This special time-out will help the parents and children rest and rejuvenate their minds so that they can be more refreshed to battle against the disease.

Programs organized are designed to improve the parents understanding of the illness and more importantly, equip the parents with the skills to provide better care for the cancer child.

In 2011, GCC has extended its wings to Miri at ParkCity Everly Hotel, Miri with a total participation of 35 families. Whilst GCC in Kuching took place at Damai Beach Resort with an amazing participation from 77 families.
